2017 Home Buyers Appraised IncorrectlySome who purchased affordable homes in 2017 were appraised incorrectly. Texas ProTax has taken the lead on correcting these appraisals but there is additional work you need to complete with your mortgage company. IF YOU WERE APPRAISED INCORRECTLY, you should have already received an email from Debra Bawcom at Texas ProTax with instructions and a certified value report. If you have not (and purchased your home in 2017and believe there is an issue), please contact Debra at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Board Resolution: Affordable Home Ownership after 30 yearsOn July 17, 2018, the Board passed a resolution clarifying affordable home ownership after 30 years. After 30 years and the payoff of the second lien to the Mueller Foundation, all restrictions are lifted. You can sell the home to anyone for any price. You will not owe the Mueller Foundation any portion of the appreciation. The home is yours to do with as you please. Please click here to obtain a copy of the 7.17.18 Board Resolution.
